The Fell Pony Society annual stallion and colt show will be held here again as usual. The Fell Pony Society's aim is to foster and keep pure the old breed of pony which has roamed the northern fells for years and to circulate knowledge and general information about the pony breed. The event has been held here since 1970s when Sylvia McCosh, of Dalemain, was very involved in the organisation.

This is a family friendly day with prize giving, catering and a show to celebrate one of Cumbria’s most treasured animals. The event is held in the West Park.
